Box Pushing Game
About
Do you like pushing things? Walking? What about boxes? Then I have a game for you: Box Pushing Game!
You are Walkie Boy, a red blob that has legs for some reason. You're working night shift at a company called MegaCorp's massive box sorting facility. Why do they have an entire facility for that? Good question, I don't know either.
Currently has 8 levels.
Engine, assets, and code all from scratch.
The web version is a cut-down version of the desktop game! If you would like the full experience, download the desktop version!
Instructions
Gameplay
At the menu, press start or space to begin. You can use mouse or arrow keys. Gamepads are supported. Then play through the levels, putting boxes into their respective places. Don't let the score drop below zero!
At the last level (currently level 8) after completing the level, it will display a level complete screen. Pressing space will restart the level.
Fullscreen can be toggled off and on by pressing F11.
Installation
Download the files for your operating system/device, and follow the README.txt included in the .zip package.
Windows
Download the Windows build below, open the zip file, extract, and then run Thruster2.exe.
Linux
(Coming soon)
Sony PSP
The game can be ran on the PPSSPP emulator for now. It runs alright on there, but not on real hardware unfortunately. Still is interesting.
Please do not install or run the PSP version on real hardware. You risk damaging your system. When I tested it on my own PSP, it crashed and restarted the system.
Known Issues
- Some graphical effects cause motion sickness.
- Low FPS on slower graphical hardware
